This is a system with way, way more nuance than it seems like it would have at first glance. The way to build ships and use them is complicated and as a result past the scope of what I can cover. However, this guide covers the essential points even if I'm not really going into a super deep dive into the math or individual modules, just the general rules of thumb which you should go by.
