Deadly Habitz Henney And Coke Music Video

Deadly Habitz – Henney & Coke, given a fresh JT mix. This one runs off a chopped, speed-garage-pitched flip of Riton feat. Kah-Lo's "Fake ID," rebuilt with rolling 2-step drums and a bassline low end so it sits right in the bassline/garage lane instead of the original's house groove. "Henney & Coke" is the closer on Deadly Habitz's "Lost City Archives Vol. 7," released 17 February 2023 on the Lost City Archives label — a four-track EP of garage and speed garage that also saw a vinyl pressing via Defstar. The Riton/Kah-Lo sample it's built on, "Fake ID," was itself a UK Top 20 hit in 2017, so this flip is one dancefloor record reworking another, both born out of the same UK garage/bassline lineage.
