Add Ambient Light with the Sky Object in Cinema 4D

If you want to add some soft shadow-less "ambient" light to your scene, turn on GI and create a Sky Object. This will also render extremely quickly. This technique will work to quickly illuminate your render evenly or it can be used more subtlety to just add a bit of fill light to the other wise completely black parts of your render/scene.
