TVC Test 1

Successful Static Fire test of Eagle TVC Gimbal, ByteLyte prototype PCB, and Anchor test mount. Used an Estes F15 Motor. The goal was to verify the mechanical strength of the mount and the functionality of other systems. The Gimbal survived throughout the entire test and showed no signs of cracks upon inspection, indicating it successfully performed. The prototype worked nearly perfectly except for PYRO channel 1, which seemed to not be working at the time. The software worked perfectly. Future work: The Y pushrod has slightly too much space, which allowed it to wiggle. This should be fixed for more precise movement of the gimbal while motors are firing. For future thrust-vectored model rocketry: A barometer and IMU should be added to the protoboard for orientation and altitude measurements during flight The software must also be updated to respond to these measurements.
