They Were Trapped in a Snowy Rehab Center With a Killer

In this movie recap, I’m breaking down a thriller where an FBI agent checks into a remote rehab facility hoping to deal with his past — and quickly discovers that getting trapped in a snowstorm with a group of cops might be the least of his problems. The place is isolated, the roads are buried, the power is unreliable, and someone inside the facility clearly doesn’t want anyone asking too many questions. Then people start turning up dead. At first, everyone has a theory. Suicide. Accidents. Maybe someone just completely lost it. Except the more I look at what’s happening, the harder it becomes to believe any of that. Someone is lying. The really fun part? Nobody knows who. The survivors are stuck together, but somehow that doesn't make them safer. It just gives the killer more people to manipulate. Phones start ringing, evidence disappears, people make some spectacularly bad decisions, and every attempt to figure out what's happening seems to create another problem. And when the storm cuts the facility off from the outside world, this stops being a police investigation and turns into a very unpleasant game of figure out who's killing everyone before you're next. In this movie breakdown, I’ll go through the clues, the paranoia, the increasingly terrible decisions, and the mystery behind the murders — without giving away who’s actually behind it all.
