September 2026 Forum Speaker Series: Marion County Commissioner Candidate Forum

On September 14, 2026, the Salem Chamber’s Forum Speaker Series kicked off its 2026-2027 season with a Marion County Commissioner Candidate Forum featuring Commissioner Kevin Cameron, Commissioner Colm Willis, and candidate Maria Hinojos Pressey. The candidates shared their platforms, vision for Marion County, and perspectives on issues impacting the community, followed by an audience Q&A session. The forum provided attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and learn more about their priorities and plans for Marion County. The discussion highlighted a variety of topics important to local businesses, residents, and the future of our community. The event also included the presentation of our monthly Spirit of Salem Award, recognizing an individual or organization making a positive impact in the Salem community.
