NEW UPDATE! MECHA MAN, 3.8-4.1 BANNERS, NEW QOL UPDATES& MORE - Wuthering Waves Hey, beautiful! Today, we're talking about Version 3.8 banner changes, upcoming characters, optimizations, and a few other things. So, without wasting any time, let's get straight into it! First up, let's talk about the banners. According to the information shared by Nanoka, in Phase 1 of Version 3.8, we'll see Lily's banner alongside reruns for Sigrika and Qiuyuan. The featured 4-stars are expected to be Youhu, Aalto, and Yangyang. Then, in Phase 2 of Version 3.8, we're expected to get Xuanling, Suisui, and Hiyuki, with Danjin, Baizhi, and Yuanwu as the featured 4-stars. Now, I know many of you are here to learn about Lily's kit, but don't worry! I'll be breaking that down later in the video, so make sure you stick around. For now, let's move on to something else. We've also got more information circulating about the Version 4.0 and 4.1 characters. Keep in mind that these are early reports and character descriptions, so some details could change as we get closer to their release. Starting with Version 4.0, in Phase 1, we're hearing about Anna, who's also being described with nicknames like female XL, mommy, and vampire. She's rumored to be a Fusion Basic Attack main DPS. Yeah, that's quite a few nicknames for one character! Let's see which ones actually stick when we get more information. Then, in Phase 2, we're hearing about Lucille, also described as the catgirl, who is rumored to be an Electro Flare sub-DPS. Moving forward to Version 4.1, we have Aimoxishi, also referred to as Amethyst—which, honestly, is probably the easier name to remember. But here's the funny part: you'd expect a character called Amethyst to be purple, right? Apparently, she's blue instead! According to the current descriptions, Amethyst is an anti-Resonance humanoid weapon user, something along the lines of a Sentinel Resonator. It's also expected that her body type will be similar to Shorekeeper's. And another character we're hearing about is Sha, aka the mecha man. Wow, interesting, right? Looks like we might be getting another mecha character! But hold on a second. Remember Luuk? He was also described as a mecha man, and he had absolutely NOTHING mecha about him. So, yeah, don't fall for that shit again! Until we get more reliable information, take these descriptions with a grain of salt. Now, let's move on to the Version 3.8 optimizations, because we're getting a couple of useful quality-of-life improvements. First up, we have Character System optimizations. The presentation of the Resonance Sequence conversion interface has been improved, making it easier to view. Rovers will also be able to save their Echo loadouts separately for each element or attribute. So, you won't have to keep manually adjusting your Echo setup every time you switch elements. Another change is that newly obtained Resonators, along with characters marked in the Training Plan system, will now appear at the top of the list on the right side of the character screen. And finally, a teammate recommendation module has been added to the Resonator Training Plan, which should make it easier to figure out which characters work well together. Next up, we have Domain optimizations. Endgame modes like Endstate Matrix, Tower of Adversity, and Whimpering Wastes will now allow you to switch characters before starting a challenge. This is a pretty useful change, since you won't have to start a challenge and then realize you've brought the wrong team. So, that's all for today!
