SYL noiZ - Sick (Lyric Video)

“Sick” is one of the craziest songs on the album because I literally made it while I was actually sick — fresh off the trip to Costa Rica. If you listen closely, you can even hear some congestion in my voice. That wasn’t on purpose, but it ended up adding to the whole mood of the track. What started as me feeling physically sick turned into a deeper idea: people being “sick,” not just in their body, but in their mind, their heart, and their decisions. The tissues on the table, the heaviness in the intro — it sounds like I’m crying or going through something emotional, but it was really just me being sick for real. And honestly, that accidentally-perfect vibe matches the theme of the song. The whole track has this dark, wavy, eerie energy to it. It’s emotional without trying to be emotional, and the rawness from recording while sick actually made it feel more genuine. The atmosphere fits the message: sometimes the sickness we deal with isn’t on the outside — it’s what people carry on the inside. This is one of those songs where the vibe, the moment, and the message lined up in a way I couldn’t plan. #chh #christianmusic #christianrap #nesternation
