The Crown of Sang Nila by Darius Lim (WORLD PREMIERE)- Temasek Chorale

Temasek Chorale (Temasek Secondary School Choir) performs the world premiere of The Crown of Sang Nila. The work was commissioned for the 2013 Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation for choirs, where the choir was awarded the certificate of Distinction. The work depicts the historical legend of the discovery of Singapore when Sang Nila Utama, the Prince of Palembang, threw his crown into the storm before discovering the island of Temasek (present day Singapore).
