Parries are terrifying now

Last video of old footage with background noise, I apologise for this. Hopefully the fights/suggestions make up for it! Whats up guys, been some time since i've hopped on Elden Ring for some fun PvP shenanigans. I enjoy trying to make dedicated invasion builds and testing different weapons/setups for invasions. Lightroll + parry spam is one of the harder things to deal with as an invader if the phantom is competent, especially with the recent buffs to the parry ash of war. You can use jumping attacks or can swap your weapon to a colossal and two hand it to make sure you don't get parried, this will save your arse. However colossals aren't exactly the best chase down weapons against lightroll + latency. I prefer to learn how to fight these kinds of things instead of always swapping to hard counters immediately. When fighting against light roll status effect is king it gives you a chance to get a free hit in when they bolus and depending on your weapon, I would recommend doing this instead of a running R1 to engage. Jumping attack's cover more distance and if they don't double roll you will most likely reach them. Just something I have found to beat lightroll without swapping your setup to hard counter theirs.
