Mysterious Ghanta Matam|| SRISAILAM || MY DIVINE PORTAL

Ghanta Matha is located about 100 meters north-west of Goddess Bhramaramba Devi Temple. Among all the mutts here, Ghantamatam is the most ancient one. Ghanta Matham constitutes a group of eight temples and has undergone many architectural changes. It is believed that Ghanta Siddha mentioned in the Ratnavali play written by Harsha, is said to have stayed here. Its existence dates prior to the 7th century.
