Back to Old Fort again for the awesome Gateway Trails system in Pisgah National Forest's Grandfather District, and the focus here is Gateway, a green circle, flowy, XC-style trail that has lots of speed, rollers, and berms! While this has some of the highest speeds of the Phase 1 trails at Old Fort, do note that there is a significant climb in the middle of this purported downhill trail! Caught me by surprise...
