Wild camping and Trangia cooking on Dartmoor

🏕️ Wild Camping on Dartmoor | Mist, Mystery & a Stunning Sunrise Join us on a wild camping adventure on Dartmoor, where we set off into the misty moorland with low cloud rolling across the landscape and absolutely no plan for where we’re going to spend the night! With no campsite in mind, we wander across the moors, taking in the atmospheric scenery and keeping our eyes open for the perfect spot to pitch up for the night. Once we’ve found somewhere to settle down, it’s time to get the Trangia stove out and cook up a tasty stir fry for our evening meal. There’s something special about being out on the moors, away from everything, with no real plans and just enjoying the adventure. But the best is yet to come! After a night under the Dartmoor skies, we’re treated to an absolutely stunning sunrise that lights up the landscape and makes the early start well worth it. With the mist and low cloud gone, it’s a beautiful, sunny morning — the perfect setting to get the Trangia going again and cook up some pancakes for breakfast. With full stomachs, blue skies and some incredible scenery to enjoy, we pack up camp and make our way back to the car, bringing another memorable Dartmoor adventure to an end.
