With this being The Killers' most popular (and most challenging) song it was inevitable that an official DLC chart would be made for it, the transcription was fairly decent but since it came out so early into RS2014's lifecycle there were glaring errors in the details and the tones were especially lacking so I've redone it to bring it up to my higher standards. Unfortunately despite the official chart being completely delisted I'm still not allowed to post this to CF. I can link it here though: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/40d0wa... CHANGES FROM ODLC CHART: General cleaning up of minor details, FHP transitions, chord fingerings, slides, etc. The guitar chart was a reasonably accurate transcription so the changes mostly came from small details and the tone overhaul. The big stretchy chord shape in the pre-chorus was quite impractical with the ODLC method, those chord fingerings were way off. The handshape marking implies all the frets being held for the whole pattern but if your hand can't comfortably stretch that far it can help to lift the index finger off the 3rd fret partway through the pattern and re-place when necessary. All tones completely redesigned, they're MUCH better now. Added transitional muted notes, most of the time they're open string hits but it isn't perfectly consistent so these work as allowing whatever transitional note the player uses to be accepted as correct. Nerfed the transition out of chorus 1 into verse 2 - every note after the last slide down is marked as ignored and not required to be played which allows much easier repositioning for the main riff (though there isn't a good way of showing that many notes as optional in game). It's an awkward transition that Dave almost always skips playing in live shows too since extra time is required to fret the verse shapes. Removed Rhythm path, it was almost exactly the same as Lead and the small differences didn't make it worth playing instead of the main arrangement. Cleaned up various detail errors (ODLC had the album listed as "Hot Fuzz" - I mean come on, the picture with the album title in big red letters is right there when you type it in). Getting the multitracks was harder than expected - despite appearing in several different rhythm games each version of this song had huge flaws that made their stems unsuitable for this game (RB and Fortnite Festival had a completely different take for Drums + Bass, GH is missing a drum mic and made the sound all garbled), so I had mix and match frankensteined versions together from multiple sources and take it apart again to only get the necessary tracks. It worked out in the end but the multitrack versions still have kind of a hollow sound after intentionally taking a track out, they work fine for what they are but I had more fun just playing the normal version with all the original audio taken straight from the album.
