Darth Revan Was Only the THIRD Best Duelist of His Era?

Was Darth Revan really the greatest lightsaber duelist of the Old Republic? Comments from Knights of the Old Republic writer Drew Karpyshyn make the case that Darth Malak and Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile from KOTOR II, may both have been better with a blade. In this Star Wars Legends breakdown, we revisit the duel that cost Malak his jaw, examine how Revan turned their final battle aboard the Star Forge in his favor, and explore what made Meetra so dangerous with all seven lightsaber forms. If Malak had the edge in pure lightsaber skill, how did Revan beat him twice? The answer comes down to how Revan used the Force, read his opponents, and exploited weaknesses that a more skilled duelist could still leave open.
