Freezer Apple Pie Filling

Twitter Check out Kiddos Koral (@KiddosKoral40): https://twitter.com/KiddosKoral40?s=09 Apple Pie Filling 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of brown sugar pinch of salt teaspoon of nutmeg 2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 cup of corn starch 6 cups of water 2 tablespoons of lemon juice bring up to a boil. It will thicken and turn color Add in 24 cups of peeled and sliced apples. I use what i have on hand. But the best is a nice tart apple. Allow to simmer about 15 minutes. And remove from heat. Allow to cool. And then place 2 1/2 cups of apple mixture into freezer bags. Great for pie, apple crisp, and more. Hope you enjoy this recipe. Please subscribe.
