October Budget Reset | Setting Up Cash Envelopes + First Cash Stuffing

I’ve always had a budget, but I haven’t always been great about actually following it when it comes to variable spending like groceries, eating out, household expenses, clothes, and family activities. In this video, I’m setting up my October planner, setting up my new cash-envelope system, and doing my first cash stuffing. My husband gets paid weekly and I get paid biweekly, so I’m also showing how I adjust our budget based on when our money actually comes in. Instead of trying to divide every category perfectly, I’m prioritizing the things we need first and funding the rest as the larger paychecks come in. After spending the last few years focusing heavily on other areas of my life, I’m ready to become much more intentional with our finances and create a system that helps us actually stick to the goals we’ve set. I’m not looking for a perfect budget. I’m looking for a system we can realistically follow while paying off debt, building savings, and becoming more intentional with our money.
