I Made Lemon Cake & Bread in My Dorm… and Someone Turned Off the Oven 😭

A little baking day in my student hostel in Hungary! 🇭🇺🍋🍞 This time, I decided to make homemade bread and lemon cake. I started by preparing the bread dough and letting it proof, then used that time to make a lemon cake from scratch, prepare the glaze, and cut it into pieces. Everything was going smoothly… until I discovered that someone had turned off the oven. 😭 So, naturally, my baking plans had to wait while I let it preheat again. Thankfully, the baking continued, and I got to try my homemade lemon cake! I genuinely loved how it turned out, although I have never actually tasted lemon cake before, so I had absolutely nothing to compare it with. 😂 Luckily, my Syrian friend tried it and said it tasted like I had made it a hundred times. Si lets hope he wasn’t being too kind! This is a cozy, everyday vlog about baking from scratch, making the most of hostel life, and finding little things to enjoy while studying abroad.
