National Police Day 2025

National Police Day commemorates the promulgation of the South African Police Service (SAPS) Act, 1995 (Act No. 68 of 1995). On this day, we honour the sacrifices made by the men and women in blue, who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of all residents in South Africa. National Police Day is celebrated annually to recognise the valuable services rendered by various policing agencies.
