I built an ice fort in my backyard and used it as a temporary hash lab. Cold conditions are perfect for ice water extraction, so we figured why not fully commit and wash 10 pounds of Strawberry Guava fresh frozen in the middle of a snowstorm. In this episode, we run the Hashtek system inside the snow fort, deal with frozen hoses, frozen bubbles, freezing hands, and somehow still pull off a clean wash. We also talk through the difference between solventless and hydrocarbon extraction, why cold environments help resin wash off clean, and why darker hash does not always mean bad hash. Then we take the collected trichome heads, freeze dry them, press them into rosin, and show the final result. This might be the most ridiculous hash lab we’ve ever built.
