It brought me here and over the years has continually been the epicenter of my adventure dreams. In 2014 a buddy and I did an extensive hike in Yellowstone National Park, which hatched a plan to make an even larger trip to explore beyond the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park. Beyond the boarders of the park we decided to explore the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The lands, waterways, and wildlife that makes up the 20+ million acres of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem(GYE). In this trip I traveled a 500 mile route through the GYE. During the trip I traveled through 4 National Forests, 3 States, 2 National Parks, 3 Wilderness areas, and immersed myself in some of the most remote and wild stretches of the GYE.
