Angel Island is a state park located in San Francisco Bay. It offers panoramic views, historic sites, and has great trails for hiking as well as a perimeter trail for cycling. There is some gravel terrain, so I took the Brompton G-Line to see how it handles those conditions. I packed a small chair which was completely unnecessary. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables along the loop. From the North Bay, you can take the SMART train to Larkspur Ferry and then catch the Golden Gate Ferry to the Island. Otherwise you have to drive to Tiberon to take that ferry to the island and those run less frequently. The Golden Gate Ferry was more bike friendly than the Larkspur ferry that day.
