If you ever wondered how to play guitar with different effects and sounds without having to ever step on a single pedal (nor hire a guitar tech/roadie) here it is! Here I'll show you how to use Apple's Mainstage 3 as your pedalboard, QLab as your guitar tech and enjoy the freedom of not having to worry about pedal switching evermore. I have been looking for this king of solution for a long time and when I first heard about QLab I realized that was the tool I needed. I'm still far from what I really desire, but closer and closer. My main goal really is to make this control my actual rig (pedals, midi controlled looper, tube amp with midi switching between channels, multiple guitars, In-ear monitoring (IEM), etc. But let's consider this the first step towards pedal freedom. Now, don't take me wrong, I LOVE PEDALS, I really like the old school, even their noise, but I can't pedal-dance and sing, especially with the many changes of rhythm, tempo, effects, and time signature my songs have, so I gotta be really focused, plus keeping the audience with a good energy.
