Cirque of the Towers - Backpacking through the Wind River Range

In August 2025, my friend Dane Cramer (featheredprop on YouTube) and I backpacked the 26-mile Cirque of the Towers loop in Wyoming's Wind River Range. We began at the Big Sandy Trailhead, passed through the Bridger Wilderness, across the Continental Divide, through the Popo Agie Wilderness, and back to the Big Sandy Trailhead. We passed 11 alpine lakes, hiked over two mountain passes, and saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have encountered while backpacking.
