The Deadliest Alien Squad Mocked the Human Kneeling in a Minefield—Then Their Captain KNELT Too

In this HFY story, the deadliest alien squad in the fleet is handed one human, and on his first mission he kneels in a minefield while they time him out loud. The Rokhai kneel only to surrender or to be buried, the Nisk seeds are invisible to every scanner they own, and Sergeant Wes Carver is the slowest thing they have ever seen. Then the fastest of them steps on a seed that waits for the weight to come off, in an underestimated human sci fi bedtime story about the kind of courage that moves at eleven centimeters a minute. #HFY #HFYStories #HumansAreSpaceOrcs #SciFiBedtimeStories #SciFiAudioStories #SciFi
