Matins and Liturgy for the 16th Sunday after Pentecost

Christ is in our midst! Христос међу нама! Cristo esta' entre nosotros! Today we honor a triumverate of feasts: the 16th Sunday after Pentecost, the Sunday before the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious Cross, and the Forefeast of the Nativity of the Theotokos. We also bless the beginning of the Church School Year, and celebrate the St. Nicholas Seniors Slava of Sts. Joachim and Anna. Father Christopher Rocknage leads a study of the Gospel of St. John. Today we begin to examine the "poetic prologue".
