mAppetites Is Here: Grab Your Lunch and Join Us We are excited to introduce mAppetites, our brand new lunch and learn series designed to deliver quick, engaging presentations on topics across GIS and LIS. Think of it as learning in bite sized portions that fit perfectly into your lunch hour. Presentation- Extending ArcGIS with customized apps that don't require code If you're like most organizations, you have been able to implement ArcGIS as a System of Record for managing your geospatial data and publishing it out as web services to hydrate various internal and public facing GIS apps. Yet when it comes to the development and deployment of the Apps themselves, if you struggle to get users across the enterprise to use those apps, you are not alone. You're serving many departments, each of which have their own complex workflows and existing business systems that must be integrated. In many cases there is a gap between the ArcGIS configurable apps and those sophisticated requirements. Technology now exists for non-developers to configure apps that meet all of those requirements (not just some of them), while remaining inside of ArcGIS Online or Portal. Custom code? Nope - join the talk to find out how this is done. About the presenter- Brandon Tourtelotte is an Account Manager with VertiGIS, based in Minneapolis. He is a U of MN Twin Cities grad, and has been an active member of the GIS Community in MN throughout his career. He has recently passed the GIS torch to his son, who has started a GIS internship with the City of Plymouth!
