After Effects Tutorial - Laser Etched Metal Pt1

Here's part one of this two-part tute showing you how to use After Effects to create a laser burning text into metal. Uses only the standard toolset in AE, but you will need CS4 or CS5 (CS3 doesn't have the 'convert to masks' option). Part two will follow soon and the project file will be up on my website.
