Why does the funniest person you know never say how they really feel? Settle in for a slow, cozy bedtime story about the psychology of people who are always the funny one: the class clown, the friend who lightens every room, and the one nobody thinks to ask "are you okay?" Dim the screen, pull up the blanket, and fall asleep to psychology.
Tonight we explore why some people use humor so much, whether humor is a defense mechanism or simply a gift, the four humor styles, self-deprecating humor, the "sad clown" myth, benign violation theory, and the quiet cost of being "on" all the time. Calm narration, gentle pacing, and no quiz at the end. If you drift off halfway through, that's the point.
