First Light in the Valley of Giants | 1 Hour of Original Cinematic Orchestral Music

First Light in the Valley of Giants is a one-hour original cinematic orchestral journey through an ancient valley as the first light rises and an immense living world slowly reveals itself. The music begins close to the forest floor — mist, ferns, rivers and traces of life — before the scale of the valley begins to change. The journey moves through towering forests, sleeping herds, nesting grounds, open ridges and passing shadows before returning to the valley in full light. This album was designed as one continuous story, with each movement flowing into the next while using a changing orchestral palette of strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, celesta and restrained orchestral percussion.
