This setup is expected to trigger scattered thunderstorms across much of the region, reaching from Cape Town in the west to the northern areas of Limpopo. The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for KwaZulu Natal, where severe thunderstorms may bring intense rainfall, hail, and frequent lightning.
