Epileptic Seizure recorded on electroencephalogram (EEG)

This video is about Lucas who is 10 years old and suffers from epilepsy. In September he had an electroencephalogram (EEG) test which is used to find problems related to electrical activity of the brain. The EEG tracks and records brain wave patterns. Small metal discs with thin wires (electrodes) are placed on the scalp, and then send signals to a computer to record the results. Lucas was excited and hopeful that this test would help to find out what is making him have seizures. After some preliminary tests at the hospital, it was hoped that the EEG would capture a seizure developing however whilst in hospital this did not happen.
