VÆRRIX - DEJA VU II

I’m a great fan of films and have a special enthusiasm for movies from all parts of the world, particularly classic Hollywood films from the 1930s and 1970s. For a long time, I’ve been interested in old cars and the way they are incorporated into fascinating stories, mysterious characters, and attractive locations. DEJA VU is a reflection of how I see myself in the real world and how I imagine my personality in the world of film. In real life, I am extremely introverted, shy, and not very sociable, but when I’m on screen, I take on the role of a James Bond character, with a leading lady, a classic car, and a crime to solve. This is where my passion for classic cars becomes relevant. I imagine myself as a hero, driving a vintage car, listening to jazz, and travelling through a remarkable place, bringing that fantasy within reach. DEJA VU is how I describe that sensation. It’s about being in a place I have never been, yet at the same time feeling as if I have been there before. Maybe this feeling arises from the movies I have seen, the cars I have admired, and the lives I have imagined for myself. When I put together a driving playlist, I’m not just selecting music for a trip. I’m creating the background score to a film that lies somewhere between reality and imagination. Maybe that is actually what DEJA VU really amounts to: the moment when those two worlds come together.
