Frères Soki (English Translation)-Kanda Bongo Man

'Les Frères Soki' (the Soki brothers) Soki Dianzenza Èmile and Soki Vangu Maxime were prominent in the early revolution of Congolese music. They formed L'Ochestre Bella Bella in 1969. The band included the following artists at different times: Kanda Bongo Man, Nyboma Mwan Dido, Johnny Roger, Jean Bosco, Pepe Kallé, Diblo Dibala among others. Sadly the duo passed on in the same year, two weeks apart. Soki Vangu Maxime (8/5/1947-18/5/1990) Soki Dianzenza Èmile (1954-4/5/1990). Kanda Bongo Man eulogised the brothers with the song Frères Soki which I have attempted to translate. Enjoy. Like. Comment. Share. SUBSCRIBE.
