Eating My Way Through Asakusa in a Kimono 🍡🇯🇵

I'm back! I was abroad for two weeks, and now I'm home in Japan. Today I met up with my best friend in Asakusa. We rented kimono — the Taisho Roman hakama plan — and spent the whole day eating. Curry for breakfast (my husband made it, with a raw egg on top). Then cheese curry pan, ningyoyaki, takoyaki, silk pudding, and deep-fried baby castella. Plus a lemon squash at a little café along the way. We also went to Hanayashiki, Japan's oldest amusement park. Free entry if you're in kimono, until October 31. We rode the roller coaster, a panda car, and took photos on the merry-go-round. Hakama was definitely not made for panda cars 😂 Oh, and I fell down some stairs on my trip abroad, so I've got a few bruises and should probably be resting. At Sensoji, I waved the incense smoke over my head to get smarter. I should've done my legs. The silk pudding was the best thing I ate all day. Haven't been this impressed by food in a while.
