Rutherford County Schools Builds a Scalable, Student-First Security Program with CEIA OPENGATE®

Rutherford County Schools, a high-performing district serving more than 51,000 students across 53 campuses, deployed CEIA OPENGATE districtwide after a non-CEIA pilot revealed challenges with scalability and mobility. With top-down leadership buy-in, training for close to 200 staff members, and a philosophy that balances security, efficiency, the student experience, and fiscal responsibility, the district now serves as a model for other systems exploring weapons detection.
