Bling, a leading Brazilian SaaS ERP, broke past its architecture bottleneck with TiDB

During the AWS × TiDB Builders Day in São Paulo, we invited Cassio and Everton from Bling to share their experience with TiDB. Bling is a leading SaaS ERP platform in Brazil and Mexico (part of the LWSA group), with 300k+ daily active users powering high-concurrency integrations with Amazon, Mercado Livre and other large marketplaces. – Challenge: 25 TB of data and write bottlenecks on Aurora — online schema changes took 50+ hours – Choice: migrated to TiDB — natively distributed and highly MySQL-compatible – Result: seamless elastic scaling under high concurrency, with much lower operational complexity and hardware cost – A practical reference for data-architecture upgrades across LATAM
