Frank walks us through the following steps: To begin, remove the cover by pulling it straight up and off of the engine block. Next, access the timing belt cover plate with a 3 inch ratchet. Pull the tensioner back until you're able to remove the belt. Loop on the new belt, beginning with the starter. While pulling back the tensioner, twist the belt slightly to slide it behind the tensioner.
