MeePlus VS Moleskine - Can a leather binder outperform a traditional notebook style?

MeePlus, a competitor of Plotter, makes luxury ring binders made of Italian leather. They can be used for planning, journaling, and bullet journaling. This binder is fancy, but is this interesting piece of stationery really better than a traditional-style notebook like Moleskine, Leuchtturm1917, or Rhodia when it comes to every-day writing?
