KOH PHI PHI In Rainy Season | What You Should Expect | Thailand Travel Vlog

#kohphiphi #thailandtravel #tropicalisland After a rainy few nights in Railay we were hoping for some sunshine in Phi Phi as we had so many plans for our time there. But unfortunately it wasnt meant to be, and the weather was not the best for our three nights there. Despite the rain, we still had an amazing time! We particularly loved watching the Thai Boxing at one of the local bars, and seeing all of the tourists getting up their and fighting each other. It really brought up our dampened spirits. Thankfully a break in the weather allowed us enough time to hike up to the famous viewpoint for a really great view out over the island and the bay. This is for sure a must do if you’re on Phi Phi! We were so sad to not be able to do the famous Phi Phi boat tours, as we were really looking forward to it. But it just would not have been the same in the bad weather, plus the waves would have made things pretty bad out on the open ocean. Furthermore, Maya Bay is closed for a couple of months per year in the low season, so we wouldnt have been able to visit there anyway. It’s just a reason for us to come back! We hope that you’ve enjoyed the video regardless of the fact that we werent able to do everything we wanted to show you. But that’s the reality of travelling in the off/rainy season.
