The Greek journey continues to Patmos, a peaceful island filled with history, whitewashed villages, dramatic views, and beautiful Aegean scenery. In Part 4 of my Greece travel series, we explore the island of Patmos, from its harbor and colorful waterfront to quiet village streets, rocky beaches, traditional homes, windmills, churches, and historic monastery settings. Patmos has a very different feel from Santorini. It is quieter, more reflective, and filled with a sense of history and tradition. The elevated viewpoints across the island provide sweeping views of the bays, surrounding islands, and deep blue Aegean Sea, while the narrow streets and stone architecture create some of the most atmospheric scenes in the series.
