Exploring Utrecht's Hogwarts ⚡️ 📍 Dom Kerk, Utrecht, Netherlands ⛫ Exploring Dom Kerk, Utrecht — A Harry Potter⚡️ Fan's Dream 🏰 I've loved Harry Potter since I was a kid, and that never really went away. So when I found out about Dom Kerk in Utrecht, I knew I had to see it for myself. Walking in was the best part. The ceilings are so high that you end up looking straight up without meaning to. Light comes through the stained glass windows and falls across the stone floor in long coloured lines. It's quiet inside — the kind of quiet that makes you want to whisper. If you've ever imagined what the Great Hall feels like when nobody's in it, this is pretty close. Behind the church there's a cloister garden, and this was my favourite part of the whole visit. It's a small courtyard with covered walkways around the edges and a garden in the middle. Students ride their bikes through it. People sit on the benches and eat lunch. It's a normal part of the city, not just a tourist spot. But it also looks exactly like a Hogwarts courtyard, and I stood there for a good while just taking it in. Then there's the Domtoren, the tower. It's the tallest church tower in the Netherlands, and it stands completely separate from the church itself. That's because a storm in 1674 destroyed the section that connected them. Instead of rebuilding it, they left it open. So now there's a square where the middle of the cathedral used to be, and you can walk right through the gap. I really liked that — the building has a scar and nobody tried to hide it. In this vlog I'm just walking around and taking it all in. Inside the church, through the cloisters, across the square, and around the tower. No plan, no script, just me looking at things and being a bit too excited about stonework. If you're a Harry Potter fan planning a trip to the Netherlands, put Dom Kerk on your list.
