Take me back to the New River

The 2026 New River Expedition paddled 320 miles of the New from Todd, North Carolina to Gauley Bridge, WV. Along the way the crew participated in river clean ups, community floats and meet and greet events. They documented portage needs, river access gaps and debris pick up locations in order to help expand the New River Water Trail across the entire watershed.
