The Nord Cart Mover transforms a MiR250 into a fully autonomous cart transport solution, without the need for docking stations, floor-mounted fixtures or facility modifications. This video demonstrates the Cart Mover picking up a Nord Cart and moving it seamlessly through the warehouse environment.
How it works → The MiR250 positions itself beneath the Nord Cart, where the Cart Mover connects via a dedicated mechanical interface
→ The system lifts only the two braked wheels, releasing the brakes while allowing the cart to roll freely on its remaining casters
→ Once it reaches its destination, the Cart Mover lowers the cart back into position, automatically re-engaging the brakes. No docking station is required.
Why use a partial lift system? By lifting only part of the load, the AMR does not need to carry the full payload weight. This reduces mechanical strain on the robot, helping to maximise service life, while maintaining sufficient traction for safe and reliable transport, even when moving heavier loads.
Key specifications → Build height: 25 mm
→ Payload capacity: 300 kg
→ Tested for a minimum of 300,000 lift cycles at maximum payload
→ Built using industrial-grade components, designed and tested in Denmark
→ Compatible with the MiR250
