She always treats visitors with generosity and often allows them to pick some vegetables and fruits to take home without charging them. Her kindness makes every visit special. This year, the farm is full of beautiful mustard greens, with amazingly large and healthy plants! The price is only $2 per plant. My wife and sister-in-law are always excited to visit this farm. They enjoy walking through the fields, choosing their favorite plants, and harvesting fresh mustard greens to make homemade pickled mustard greens. They prepare large batches to enjoy with family and share with relatives, friends, and children. Sometimes, the pickles we made last year are still not finished when the next autumn season arrives! We follow Pou Tak’s traditional pickling method, which helps make the mustard greens crunchy, delicious, and suitable for longer storage. For me, these simple moments mean so much. Spending time with the people I love, enjoying nature, sharing laughter, and recording our everyday experiences are some of life’s greatest treasures.
