Best Stops on the Alcan: Muncho Lake & Liard River Hot Springs

Continuing our road trip to Alaska! 🚐🏔️ In this episode, we explore two of the most scenic and unforgettable stops along the Alaska Highway (Alcan) — *Muncho Lake and Liard River Hot Springs* in British Columbia, Canada. We decided to slow down and spend a few days taking in the incredible scenery, and it was absolutely worth it! 💙 From the turquoise waters of *Muncho Lake* to relaxing at **Liard River Hot Springs**, this part of the Alaska Highway was one of our favorite sections of the journey. 🐾 Our dogs had plenty of space to stretch their legs and run around, we met some of the locals who call this beautiful area home, and we even visited *Liard River Hot Springs twice!* And of course, no trip along the Alcan would be complete without a stop at *Tetsa River Lodge* for their famous **homemade cinnamon buns**! 🍥☕ A must-stop if you're driving the Alaska Highway! If you have extra time on your Alaska road trip, we highly recommend slowing down and spending a few days around *Muncho Lake and Liard River Hot Springs* rather than simply passing through.
