The OKOBERG, a cactus in the middle of the Suriname Amazon rainforest!

https://maps.apple.com/?auid=12995645... From Cajana, in the heart of Surinam, it is a great daytrip climbing the granite Okobergi or Okoberg. A small mountain which reaches barely 1200 feet in height but sticks out prominently of the rainforest below. A stone wrath sticking out of the jungle. On top its like a prairy... a cactus covered mountain top with grasses and some small bushes. But its a challenge as the only way up is imitating Tarzan. Pulling yourself up along tree roots and try to hold yourself on slippery granite.
