Join me and my Aussiedoodle Houston for a serene 32-minute real-time walk through Greenwood Conservation Area in Ajax, Ontario, filmed on November 11, 2025, just after a light overnight snowfall. While the ground and treetops are lightly dusted in snow, many of the trees still hold onto their vibrant fall colours, creating a unique and beautiful blend of autumn and winter. It's a peaceful morning walk filled with crisp air, the soft crunch of snow underfoot, and nature preparing to change seasons. Nestled in Ajax, this expansive conservation space is known for its forested trails, open meadows, and meandering creeks. On this walk, we follow a familiar woodland route, made even more magical by the overnight snow. The trail is mostly flat and natural, lined with tall trees showing the last signs of fall — yellows, oranges, and deep reds now accented by delicate white snow on branches and leaves. Houston, my Aussiedoodle walking buddy, absolutely loves the first snow. He trots ahead, sniffs curiously, and occasionally kicks up little flurries as he bounds through the trail. His energy and joy add life to the quiet stillness of the scene — making this more than just a walk, but a shared seasonal moment. Please be cautious while using a treadmill and watching this video.
