The construction work is currently moving at a fast pace, with preparations underway to make the new track ready for vehicle movement from Ashoj 1. At the moment, important works such as grading, gravel spreading and drainage (nala) construction are being carried out along the new track. This new route is being developed as an alternative connection at Krishna Bhir, where the Prithvi Highway was severely affected by the recent flood. Heavy machinery and workers are working continuously to complete the remaining roadworks and make the track suitable for vehicles. In this video, I show the latest ground situation at Krishna Bhir, the progress of the new track construction, grading and gravel work, drainage construction, and how the road is being prepared for vehicle operation.
