First time one of these releases on a weekend so I could dedicate myself to making strats a little sooner. This battle is manageable but not free. Given how there is a viable F2P clear I focused the alternatives on accessibility and consistency. I had some fun clears with Darach + Pecking Order Dawn and tanking Kommo-o, but they steered into RNG a little too much so I took them out. I'm very strict with these Extreme Battle videos because I know these get shared around as reference, so that influenced my teambuilding. For example 6*EX Barry is perfectly capable of clearing here, but he is about equal to 6*EX Cyrus who is a freebie. Basically anything that sat below the F2P clear got tossed by default. Important pointers: Max out your Type Skills and 3* Gears if you are struggling Buff Defense. The standard script follows physical moves until Saturn's Earthquake If you don't attack on the first 3 turns Jupiter uses Move Gauge Boost instead of Iron Head [0:00] - F2P Standard https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.... As basic as it gets. Cyrus is a beast and with his new 6*EX potential he can chip down sides for a clean endgame. Maylene is a Sinnoh support who buffs Crit which helps Cyrus proc Critical Focus guaranteed. Skyla rounds up the core with Def, Spe and Potion support. I didn't sync with Skyla so people who don't have 6*EX Skyla can follow along. I didn't heal her for similar reasons: if she's not at 6*EX potential she can't survive Saturn's sync. While this strat is accessible, it's demanding on player execution. You have to quad-queue a couple times so you can snipe Saturn's Earthquake. RNG is also rough. With this set-up Cyrus is working with 90% accurate Hydro Pumps and there is the constant threat of flinches ruining the queue. I highly recommend giving Maylene Unflappable as a Lucky Skill. Statistically you are much more likely to get Flinched than Crit'd. There is an argument to be made for a Spacial Rend Cyrus build. It's significantly weaker than Hydro Pump but far more consistent (doesn't need Critical Focus and can't miss). I have a couple recordings with it but I think Hydro Pump gives you more options despite the risks. [2:58] - Cyrus but easier https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.... Do you have Dawn and Lucas? Congrats, you have a free clear. Dawn is the quintessential tank for this battle because she buffs Def AoE, has a "Full Restore" and can debuff Atk with Power Syphon. 6*EX Cyrus under Dragon Zone cleanly takes out sides, and with Lucas' DPS this is very easy to do. [5:26] - Renegade Cynthia? Never heard of her https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.... A lot of people were frolicking to this Extreme Battle given Fantina overlaps with Renegade Cynthia. Just slap Classic Red and that should be a free clear... right? I have used Fantina extensively and I knew she would struggle to some degree. My first idea was bringing Palentine's Dawn for those juicy Sp.Def debuffs, but she is not easy to access. After some thinking I landed on SS Blue + BP Morty. SS Blue might as well be F2P because 80% players have him built. SS Blue helps complete Fantina's set-up and Safety Net is super clutch for these fights. I rounded up the core with BP Morty as to not reuse Dawn and offer an alternative. After doing off-regions I'm not afraid of tanking with SS Blue. With healing bursts he gets by no problem. More importantly, BP Morty can Flinch with Astonish. This offers a crucial Shadow Ball worth of damage so Fantina can push Saturn into killing range more easily. [8:35] - It's time, Cynthiabros https://pokemon-masters-stuff.github.... Ah yes, OG Cynthia can off-type... as long as you have 6*EX Dawn or 6*EX Ingo. She really needs the Support buff to push her damage. 6*EX Cynthia is not nearly as compulsory. I gridded Dawn for DPS. I have memed with this exact team on Regirock before so she happens to have Surging Sand 3 to pump more damage. If you have 6*EX Dawn, Event Bugsy is an adequate replacement for Ingo. ----- The Eggmon Compendium: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1k... I stream Pokémon Masters sometimes:   / zinfogel
